Ayilya Gopalakrishnan, known professionally as Ananya (Ananyaa), is an Indian actress who works mainly in Malayalam and Tamil films and a few Telugu and Kannada films. She is a singer and an archer also. She made her acting debut with the Malayalam movie Positive in 2008. She debuted in Tamil with the movie Naadodigal in 2009, for which she won the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress. She debuted in Telugu with the movie Amayakudu in 2011. Gokula Krishna (2012) was her Kannada debut movie. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress – Tamil for Engaeyum Eppothum in 2011.

She was born on 29 March 1987 (age 39 years) in Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala, India, to Gopalakrishnan, a film producer, and Praseetha. She has a younger brother, Arjun is an actor. She completed her B.A. degree in Communicative English from St. Xavier’s College, Aluva, Kerala. She married Anjaneyan.
