Venkatasubramanian, also known as Vidharth (Vidaarth), is an Indian actor who works in the Tamil film industry. He made his film acting debut with an uncredited role in the 2001 Tamil movie Minnale. He debuted in a lead role with the Tamil movie Mynaa in 2010, co-starring Amala Paul, for which he won the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actor and the Norway Tamil Film Festival Award for Best Actor. Then he appeared in Mudhal Idam (2011), Venmegam (2014), Pattaya Kelappanum Pandiya (2014), Aal (2014), and Kaadu (2014).
He was born on 20 December 1979 (age 46 years) in Kalakkad, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. He married Gayathri Devi in June 2015. They have a daughter, Kadambari, born in 2017.
