Tovino Thomas is an Indian producer and actor who predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry. He made his acting debut with the movie Prabhuvinte Makkal in 2012. The films ABCD (2013), 7th Day (2014), and Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015) featured him in breakthrough roles. The Netflix superhero movie Minnal Murali (2021) featured him as the lead character. The movie Kilometers and Kilometers was co-produced by him. He established Tovino Thomas Productions, his own production company, on January 21, 2021. In Kala, the first project from his own production company, he also portrayed the antagonist. For his role in Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), he was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. For his role in Mayanadhi (2017), he was also awarded the Kerala Film Critics Association Award and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor. His roles in Kala and Minnal Murali earned him the SIIMA Award for Best Actor.

He was born on 21 January 1989 (age 37 years) to Adv. Ellikkal Thomas and Sheela Thomas in Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, Kerala, India. His siblings are Tingston Thomas and Dhanya Thomas. He completed primary schooling at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Irinjalakuda, Kerala, and Secondary (Plus Two) schooling at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Irinjalakuda, Kerala. He completed his bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Tamil Nadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. On October 25, 2014, he wed Lidiya, his lifelong love, at St. Thomas Cathedral in Irinjalakuda. The couple got married after nine years of relationship during their time in school. The couple’s daughter, named Izza, was born in 2016, and their boy named Tahaan, was born in 2020.
