Sendhil Ramamurthy

Sendhil Amithab Ramamurthy also known as Sendhil Ramamurthy is an American actor who works in the English and Hind entertainment industries. He made his acting debut with the English movie In the Beginning in 2000. In 2002, he made his television debut with the series Guiding Light. He made his Hindi movie debut with the movie Shor in the City in 2011. He is well known for his roles as geneticist Mohinder Suresh in the NBC sci-fi drama Heroes, Gabriel “Gabe” Lowan in Beauty and the Beast, and Jai Wilcox in Covert Affairs.

He was born on 17 May 1974 (age 50 years) to Somayaji Ramamurthy and Rajam Ramamurthy in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He did his college at Tufts University, Massachusetts, and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London. In 1999, He married actress Olga Sosnovska. They have two children, a daughter, Halina Ramamurthy, and a son, Alex Ramamurthy born in 2005 and 2008 respectively.
