RJ Balaji

Balaji Patturaj, popularly known as RJ Balaji, is an Indian radio jockey, presenter, comedian, director, and actor who works in the Tamil entertainment industry. His most well-known roles include hosting the 92.7 Big FM programs Take it Easy, The Night Show with RJ Balaji, and its now-canceled Cross Talk feature, where he made prank calls to unsuspecting people. He made his acting debut with the Tamil movie Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru in 2013. In 2015, he appeared in Idhu Enna Maayam, Yatchan, and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. For his performance in Naanum Rowdydhaan, he won the SIIMA Award for Best Comedian. His directorial debut was the Tamil movie Mookuthi Amman in 2020.

He was born on 20 June 1985 (age 40 years) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his BSc in computer science from Kumararani Meena Muthiah College of Arts and Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Amrita School of Communication, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He married Divya.
