Ravindra Kishan Shukla (Ravindra Shyamnarayan Shukla), also known as Ravi Kishan, is an Indian actor, politician, film producer, and television personality. He is currently a Lok Sabha member of Parliament from Gorakhpur. He works in the Bhojpuri, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, and Tamil film industries. He is the second runner-up in Bigg Boss 2006. He was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in 2012. He made his acting debut with the Hindi movie Pitambar in 1992. In 1999, he made his Tamil movie debut with the movie Monisha En Monalisa. Saiyaan Hamar was his Bhojpuri movie debut in 2003. In 2014, he made his Telugu debut with the movie Race Gurram and his Marathi movie debut with the movie Madhyamvarg: The Middle Class. He made his Kannada movie debut with the movie Hebbuli in 2017.
He was born on 17 July 1969 (age 56 years) to Shyam Narayan Shukla and Jadavati Devi in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He studied at Rizvi College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He married Preeti Kishan on 10 December 1993. They have a son, Saksham Shukla, and three daughters, Ishita Shukla, Tanishqa Shukla, and actress Riva Kishan.
