Ram Pothineni is an Indian actor who works in the Telugu film industry. He made his film acting debut with the Telugu movie Devadasu (2006), for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He is well known for his roles in Ready (2008), Maska (2009), Kandireega (2011), Pandaga Chesko (2015), Nenu Sailaja (2016), Hello Guru Prema Kosame (2018), iSmart Shankar (2019), and Red (2021). Beyond his film career, he did his first-ever brand endorsement for Garnier alongside John Abraham.

He was born on 15 May 1988 (age 38 years) to Murali Pothineni and Padmasree Pothineni in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He has a brother, Krishna Chaitanya Pothineni, who is a film producer, and a sister, Madhu Smitha Pothineni. He is the nephew of Telugu film producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. Actor Sharwanand is his cousin.
