Rahul Ravindran is an Indian director and actor who works in the Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film industries. He made his acting debut with the Tamil movie Moscowin Kavery in 2010. He debuted in Telugu with the movie Andala Rakshasi in 2012. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu movie Chi La Sow in 2018, for which he won the National Film Award for Best Original Screenplay. In 2024, he made his Hindi debut with the movie Jigra. He is well known for his role in Vinmeengal (2012) and Sooriya Nagaram (2012).

He was born on 23 June 1981 (age 44 years) to Ravindran and Vasumathi in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He studied at Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He completes his master’s degree in business management. He started dating singer Chinmayi Sripaada in June 2013 after meeting her at the Andala Rakshasi premiere, and they were married in May 2014. They have twin children, Driptah and Sharvas.
