Thomas James, better known by his stage name Manikuttan, is an Indian actor who mainly works in the Malayalam film and television industry. He also appears in a few Tamil films. He is known for his role as Kayamkulam Kochunni in the 2004 television serial Kayamkulam Kochunni on Surya TV. He made his acting debut with the Malayalam movie Varnachirakukal in 1999 as a child artist.

He made his debut as a lead actor in the Malayalam movie Boyy Friennd in 2004. He debuted in Tamil with the movie Nimir in 2018. He was also a part of the Kerala Strikers team in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) for several years. In 2021, he participated and won the third season of the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam.

He was born on 02 March 1986 (age 40 years) to James and Eliyamma in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He studied at St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Mahatma Gandhi College.
