Ishaan Khatter

Ishaan Khatter (Ishaan Khattar) is an Indian actor who works in the Hindi Film Industry. He made his debut acting as a child in the 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!. In the 2018 movie Beyond the Clouds, directed by Majid Majidi, he got his first main role as a heroin dealer, getting him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. The romance drama Dhadak became his first commercial hit in 2018. He assisted Abhishek Chaubey on his feature Udta Punjab in 2016 and Danish Renzu on the independent film Half Widow in 2017.

He was born on 01 November 1995 (age 30 years) to actors Rajesh Khattar and Neelima Azeem in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His half-brother, Shahid Kapoor, is Neelima Azeem’s son from her first marriage to actor Pankaj Kapur. He did schooling at Jamnabai Narsee International School, Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Billabong High International School, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He graduated from RIMS International School and Junior College, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
