Set Up Alexa on Amazon Echo devices

Amazon says it has sold over 100 million devices with Alexa built-in, be it those that are made by itself and sold under the Echo sub-brand, or those made by others that have Alexa integrated in one way or another. The voice-based digital assistant has slowly become part of the mainstream, with some of it fails and glitches garnering massive interest over the past few years. One of the first queries that most people who buy Echo devices ask is how to set up Alexa.

Download the Alexa app for Android or iOS and sign in with your Amazon account. Plugin your Echo device into a power outlet. The ring will light up blue and eventually settle on orange. On the Alexa app, head to Devices. Then hit the + icon, choose Add Device Amazon Echo. Connect your Echo device to a Wi-Fi network by following the instructions shown on the app. That’s it. You can now talk to Alexa.
