Kriti Sanon is an Indian producer and actress who works in the Telugu and Hindi film industries. She made her acting debut with the Telugu movie 1: Nenokkadine in 2014, co-starring Mahesh Babu. The same year, she made her Hindi movie debut with Heropanti, co-starring Tiger Shroff. Then she got the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She won the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for playing the title role of a surrogate mother in the comedy-drama Mimi (2021). She is well known for her roles in Dilwale (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), Housefull 4 (2019), Bhediya (2022), and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024). She has started her own clothing line, fitness business, and beauty care line in addition to her acting career. She also acts as an ambassador for several products and brands.

She was born on 27 July 1990 (age 35 years) to Rahul Sanon, a chartered accountant, and Geeta Sanon, a physics professor at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. She studied at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. She has a sister, Nupur Sanon, who is also an actress.
